GENTLE PILATES
Balance, strength & flexibility
You are never too old or unfit to start pilates. We can all learn how to use our body in a more efficient and painfree way and we can work on improving any loss of strength, flexibility and balance. This class is gentle enough for any age and every exercise can be modified on the day for how you are feeling. Pilates is an excellent choice for increasing and maintaining balance. Pilates works on balancing muscles. You will work on evenly building strength and flexibility on both sides of your body while training small and large muscle groups alike. Good core strength is essential to physical balance. Pilates allows you to build strength to support posture and alignment.
BEGINNERS PILATES
A Healthier You
This class is perfect for someone who is new to pilates or exercise. We will work your body in various positions to challenge your strength and control and you will learn how to properly activiate your core centre, using proper breathing to control movement. This class gives you the foundations of good techniques to allow you to progress, whether that be to painfree movement or to mobilise your body better to improve your tennis, golf or running or perhaps just so you can get up and down off the floor more easily! You will soon feel better and notice physical changes in your body too.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Feel better, Feel good, Look good
I offer 1:1 sessions for those who want to exercise in the comfort of their own home. I have lots of people who have had joint replacements come to me to support their rehabilitation from this surgery. Additionally, my Pink Ribbon breast cancer clients all enjoy private sessions. We can do these face to face or online, it's your lesson your way.

With access to different equipment from a matwork group class, this option also suits people who are short on time or prefer a more personalised service.

You can also do this class with someone else, as a duet!
MIXED ABILITY
Everyone's welcome!
Come along and try a class where everyone is welcome and benefit from moves that are modified to suit you. Exercises are progressed to a harder level for those wishing to have a go, especially for those who have done pilates before.
CHAIR PILATES
Everyone's welcome!
Age is no barrier to exercise! With a focus on friendly fun, we work the whole body using various props sitting in a chair. Some clients do some work in standing but it's fine to sit those moves out and we adapt them for a seated position. The results speak for themselves with clients reporting they are finding it easier to do up their clothes, swim and get out of their chair at home more easily.
